BatSkrull

Happy Halloween, I thought this was a fitting post for today, it's a BatSkrull, a collaboration with Comic Creator Cabal's Dan Cassity . They have some really fun pieces on their account so check them out.

I really wanted to do a Batskrull because me and my friend have this ongoing joke about Batman being a Skrull. I found out that C3 was doing "Secret Crisis" and so this picture came to be. This pic was seriously out of my comfort zone as far as style goes, so I threw out my typical approach and came up with this. Pretty much I tried to channel my inner Mike Mignola, even did it with markers, it was a lot of fun. I posted the bluelines so you could see what I did, for better or worse haha. Dan's pencils gave me a lot to work with and left room for interpretation, which is awesome from an Inker's standpoint. Hope you like it
